Terpsichorean Motion

An idea has been oscillating in my head as of late. Of movement, nature, and time as one divine thing. Ticking clocks, the sound of Irish pipes, love songs, and a sky filled with stars. And a coming of age and innocence. Some thinkers perceive the ancient Greek goddess/muse of dance as a metaphor for the cosmic dance to which the entire universe moves. Terpsichore. “Delight in dancing” is what her name means. Yes, she’s a myth, but imagine: a powerful, radiant woman personified as the passion and rhythm of this universe. A force of orderliness that can’t be escaped. That is a beat to which I can sync.

The Lost and Found World of Randomness

Randomness is on the loose!  I’m not sure where it went.  It seems I have been wondering and wandering aimlessly.  If you are new to this Wonderful World of Randomness…greetings!  And if not…you have probably noticed that it has been quite a while since you’ve heard any of the thoughts swirling around in the place my mind resides, known as Wonderland.  How ridiculous this is!  How absurd!  But!  I have had little time and few inspirations.  However, I realize that this is a poor excuse, and seeing as how I claim to be rich in words, I feel as if I have been robbing you of your joy and laughter.  It’s like I’ve been searching for the lost city of Atlantis. Welcome to My World…

Welcome to my world…the Wonderful World of Randomness!  This was founded by me in March 2008.  I wanted a fun way to connect with my family; well, really I just needed a formal excuse to fill their inboxes with my random (and sometimes ridiculous) writings.  And now…nine years later to the day…Randomness has made a comeback!  But now we are in blog format for the whole world wide web to read.
